Robert has owned and operated our firm since 1993.  He specializes in providing Tax, Accounting, and Family Office Services, including investment oversight, asset management, and other support services for privately owned businesses. 

Robert is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Mississippi and Louisiana and is a member of the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA), Society of Louisiana CPAs (LCPA), and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He earned his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi (USM), and has remained involved and loyal to his alma mater. In 2003, Robert was named a member of the USM Foundation’s Honor Club of Excellence. 

From 2003-2006, 2015-2018, and 2020 to present he has served on the USM Foundation’s Finance Committee and Board of Directors. He is an active member of the USM College of Business and Economic Development’s Business Advisory Council. 

Robert enlisted in the Mississippi Army National Guard in 1988, and he served during the First Persian Gulf War. He was later commissioned in 1992 as a Finance Officer serving in various finance and accounting capacities, including Finance & Accounting Office at Camp Shelby, MS, MS Commander of the 220th Finance Detachment in Raymond, MS and Executive Officer of the US Selective Service Detachment in Jackson, MS. He was awarded the Army Meritorious Service Medal and the Joint Forces Meritorious Service Medal during his time in the Army. While living in Columbia, MS, Robert was also elected to two terms as Alderman Ward 2 – City of Columbia.

Robert has served on the Elder Council at Venture Church in Hattiesburg where he and his wife are active members. Robert lives in Hattiesburg with his wife Gin, who is a retired educator. They have two children: Miranda, who lives in New Orleans, LA with her husband Evan and daughter Clara. She is COO at a philanthropic risk management firm. And Robert IV, who lives in Houston, TX with his wife Lili. He is an Analyst for a Fortune 500 global financial services firm.
